I remember having a pretty decent P&O crossing a few years ago, so I booked them for the return crossing on a recent trip to Scotland, after initially crossing with DFDS. It was a disaster. I was traveling by motorcycle, and while DFDS staff will secure your bike for you, P&O just had a guy hastily point us to a few rusty cargo straps hanging from the wall before hurrying off. The straps were in pieces, needed to be assembled correctly (with no instructions) and then hooked into fold-in loops in the floor, which were so severely rusted that we ended up having to hammer away at them for several minutes just to get them to unfold. P&O staff were nowhere to be seen during all this, I doubt anyone checked that the bikes were secured correctly before departure. When I finally arrived upstairs, the restaurant queue reached halfway through the ship. The ship seemed dirty and overcrowded. People were sleeping on benches, sitting on the floor, staff were few and seemed stressed and overworked. Food wasn't great either. I won't be going with P&O in the future.

My Honda XL 200 and I have had it for over 20 years when I oil the chain I paint the exhaust with oil yes it smells on the first drive but it turns nice and black my Honda is very reliable and still looks and drives like new

I have a honda XL 200 had it for over 20 years and at 67 I do my shopping and play about with it my camper is quite big so the bike is easier to get parked when I need to do things best regards

I’d like something very like this bike to take on or in a motorhome in the future. I can’t seem to find reviews of motorhomes that can carry a bigger bike.

Hi Andrew, it's great to see you back. I have a little suggestion. Consider getting an electric blanket instead of using the oil heater. It's very warm and less dry. Certainly less consumption and safer. Dougle and Ted will find their ways under the quilts😅

Awwe the boys chillin out in the sunshine and then playing so well together! And then all curled up and sleepy! Lovely old train carriages - I remember those being in use in my childhood in Cornwall ( I'm in my mid 60s!). I agree good food, interpreting walkies with doggies and indulging in your hobby make for perfect days. You so deserve a relax, Andrew! Tc.

Thank you, Andrew, for letting us share your holiday with The Boys - they're looking grand, and are obviously good for each other! Looks like a lovely, relaxing time; and it must be nice to know a caravan holiday can now be just that - a holiday, not work. These videos represent a return to something I didn't realise had been perhaps missing for a time - a return to carefree, easy-going content creation for its own sake, without agenda or purpose other than the simple sharing of joy.
